ABOUT ME

My name is Meena Bhatia and I am a Consultant Obstetrician working at the Oxford University NHS Foundation Trust.

As part of my role I provide antenatal care to high-risk pregnancies in Oxfordshire. I have lead the Birth Choices Clinic and I support women during the birthing process. In addition to this I provide regular postnatal care and services. The postnatal aspect is crucial - facilitating debriefs if needed, answering those questions that no doubt come up, planning and overseeing the recovery period after birth and supporting you on the journey of motherhood.

I am extremely passionate about my role and the care I provide. This is clearly evident in everything that I do and will come through in all our interactions.

I wholeheartedly believe that promoting wellness and wellbeing in pregnancy enhances the pregnancy and postnatal experience and will serve to improve the health and wellbeing outcomes of mothers and babies.

It would be an absolute privilege for me to be a part of your journey and provide the care you need - in exactly the way you need it.
